“Our wounds are the earth’s wounds; our healing is the earth’s healing.”
— Joanna Macy
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
— Rachel Carson
Do you have a sinking feeling — like modernity is pulling you apart from your own body, your own instincts, your own deeper life?
Do you remember the trees you climbed and played beneath as a kid?
Have you felt like something in you is ending — a story, a season, a version of yourself — whether literally or metaphorically?
I believe every ending is a beginning, leading you to renewal.
The forest keeps remaking herself in quiet, patient ways. So do we.
Everything becomes compost for new life. There are no mistakes, only lessons. All things move in cycles.
I offer gentle, adventurous, contemplative, relational, ecofeminist, and nature-rooted psychotherapy.
The land is listening, and so am I.
Let's find that dog in you.
I’m glad you’re here.
My Approach & Offerings
I strive to practice evidence-based therapies with soulful creativity to hold a space for your heartache.
I primarily draw from Ecotherapy (connection to land), Relational Cultural Therapy (feminist, relational, social justice grounded), Non-Violent Communication (the language of feelings and needs), neuroscience, contemplative (Buddhist & interfaith), somatic (of the body), and depth/archetypal therapies (personal/collective myths, Jungian/James Hillman).

"Suppose we did our work like the snow, quietly, quietly, leaving nothing out."
Wendell Berry
Quoting the beloved Buddhist teacher, "Thay" Thich Nhat Hanh, my own teacher, Beth Bartlett wrote in her blog Gleanings,
"Ultimately, the wisdom of interbeing is that 'our being is not limited to what is inside the boundary of our skin. It is much more immense . . . There is no phenomenon on earth that does not concern us. . .. We have to look deeply at things in order to see'
May we learn to look deeply."
I am in my vocation, in large part, because of Beth's love of life, experiential teachings, friendship, and influence. She is my beloved mentor and teacher. She is my lineage. Our relationship has taught me how important being a loving presence for others is, how to follow the compass of my values and authentic self, and how to live the questions of life with grace and curiosity.
